Originally built as a single-family home, the Cedars of Williamsburg transitioned into a guest house in 1938 and has been a cornerstone of Williamsburg hospitality ever since. Over the years, it has welcomed guests first as a guest house and then as a bed and breakfast, under the care of four dedicated owners. Today, it's fifth owners, Alex and Laura Vlk proudly embrace the rich history and warm hospitality that define Williamsburg and have made the Cedars of Williamsburg B&B a beloved destination for decades.
What a beautiful little B&B. I must say Leroy, the manager, was so sweet and very polite. I almost felt I was back in Colonial Williamsburg w the wonderful service! Leroy, explains everything and was present for anything we needed. Very helpful! The bed was totally comfortable! Slept like a dream in the cottage. Keurig coffee had me in the beginning.

When visiting William and Mary, why stay anywhere else?
Hands down the best B&B breakfast I’ve had anywhere! Leroy was delightful and helpful in acclimating us to the inn. We met Alex at breakfast the next morning and had a lovely chat. The inn is so perfectly located to the college and colonial Williamsburg that we never had to move our car. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Fantastic Time!
We stayed at the Cedars on a recent visit to Williamsburg. You will not find a more gracious host than Alex and staff! Beautiful B&B within walking distance of Colonial Williamsburg and restaurants. We throughly enjoyed our stay there. Delicious breakfast every morning. Alex suggested restaurants to try for dinners, and places to visit.
